Welcome to my blog. I am currently studying at the Boat Building Academy based in Lyme Regis and am enroled on their 38 week course in Boat Building, Maintenance and Support, City & Guilds Level III. Having been unsure as to what to do after University I thought it would great learn the skills needed to build a boat having gained the design skills while at University.
During the course I will be building 15' 8" Stripped planked Prospector Canoe. This blog will be kept updated with all that happens at the BBA during the build of my boat and that of the other boats I work on. Although the course started in September i will update with what has happened so far. Hope you enjoy it and find it useful. Cheers
